Hi...
It’s been a while since i enjoyed posting ‘bout
journal and stuff.
This time, i’d like to tell you about Dewa Athena...
So yeah, Let’s get started !1!.
Dewa
Athena is an annual sport competition among 10th graders &/ 11th
graders in my school, 3 Senior High School Bandung. Dewa Athena is acronym of ‘Olimpiade
Siswa, Ajang Tunjuk Kebolehan, Eksistensi, dan Kebersamaan Siswa’ (soo long ‘ight?,
yeah .. there are lot of events in my school that use very long name to make
amazing acronyms). This event was held on three separate Saturdays - March
25th (elimination), April 1st (semifinal),
and April 8th (final). *psst* I don’t know why they made it
only on Saturday, probably because it’s SMA 3’. When i was in jhs , we did semi-annual
sport competition between classes too, but it held in almost a week without
being disturbed by outher activities.
There were so many games in Dewa
Athena and i played many games xdd.
First,
it’s basketball. It’s available for the boys &/ the girls, but my class had
only the boys on the team. There were Dio, Yahya, Ernest, Ziyad, and Raihan who
played first against X MIPA6 . I did backup on Yahya when he’s exhausted, I entered
the field like 5 minutes and apparently we didn’t get this match.
Gobak
Sodor, 10 people played in this game. In defending phase I was in the
frontline. In attacking phase I penetrated 3 lines, 2 more to the finish and I
was being almost-last man standing *i think i was, not sure tho. Eventually we
didn’t get this match too.

Futsal,
My favourite among any games in Dewa Athena, We did win 2 times in this games,
first was match against X MIPA 10, in this match there were so many chances
that I wasted (being 1v1 with the goalkeepr, very nice passes from my team,
etc.) but I made 2 assist and that goal was so good. *psst* Towards the end of
the match, i fell down and ripped off my uniform pants. Second match was
against X MIPA 3, I thought I couldn’t get this match , but surprisingly we win
this match (i think i score a goal in this match.). And the last was match
against X MIPA 6, I had already known that this team are really good, two of
the player was the same jhs with me (Satria Fawwaz and Rofi) both of them are
really good at football/futsal. At first they score a goal and I didn’t know
how to beat em’(We thought we did really need miracles if we wanted to beat
this team). I missed many shot before their second score. Apparently I did
score a goal and after that We couldn’t make it and they were still drilling
score, It was 6-1 and we lost. Yeah, miracles came I did having fun with my
friends.
Relay
race, I didn’t play in this game but it was so fascinating(Dio,Ziyad,Gita,Adel
were playing this game). We win many matches and we lost when we race against
my former class X MIPA 7.
Dodge
ball, I didn’t actually know when it was started so i just received defeat for
this game without being played on the match.
Tug
of war, Almost all of my classmates were involved in this game. We had Kenny as
the man of the match in this game. Sadly when he’s off we didn’t have enough
power to win (‘ez win, ez win, ez win’ was in our mind when we have Kenny).
Volleyball,
I did quite good in this game, welp i barely played this game and sometimes i
failed when i did services.
The
last hope of our class, Badminton. Ziyad and Ernest were played for the men’s
doubles. Najwa and Dita were played for the women’s doubles. They got into the
final and unfortunately they didn’t make it. I think they have already given
their best in badminton xdddd.
WOOOAH,
thats all the games in Dewa Athena, I really really enjoyed it. I would like to
join the next year event if I could / maybe we’re still allowed tho xddd.
